In doing so, it restricts heat from escaping out via the aluminium structure of the skylights; thereby substantially improving the energy efficiency of the skylights and helping the skylights comply with the highest standards.

Additionally, the vents on skylights can be controlled either manually or electrically, allowing homeowners to cater for differences in inside temperature and outside weather; letting in a light summer breeze and keeping out a cold winter frost.

Skylights can be supplied hipped or with glazed gables. Hipped gables lean in towards the middle of skylights, whilst glazed gables stand upright at 90 degree angles.
